1. short is actually just as short as possible -- there's no way to press it too short to be recognized (as long as the remote still sends out a signal at all). 2. if you have trouble getting the lanbox to recognize the sequence, try spacing the keypresses a bit more apart. So, <short> <wait> <short> <wait> <short> <wait> <loooooong> <wait>, repeat once. 3. if the lanbox fails to recognize the sequence on the first try, press a random *different* key first, and then retry the sequence with the power/menu key again. -- Matthijs van Duin -- May the Forth be with you!
