Yes, I also support Dennis for is theatre use request. It would be a 
usefull feature without any doubt.

But there is maybe a workaround you can try for now before Fokko 
implements the new feature. If you use 2 layers just the same way as the 
2 scenes of a classic desk. You can, for example, run cue 1.1 on layer A 
and cue 2.1 on layer B, then your next 2 cues on layer A sould be like 
that: 
set layer A to mix transparent from 100% to 0% in 5.1s
set layer A to mix transparent from 0% to 100% in 5.1s
You need both lines to make it work. (It reads only the 2nd line, i 
don't know exactly why but it does) Layer A would go to transparent 100% 
in 5s, just like a crossfade, but if you click the previous button layer 
A would go back to Transparent 0% in 5s, (because backwards it reads 
also only the second line).
