Hmm, I have no idea why this is not working, but maybe because we also
have a keystroke system in LCedit+.
As I understand it I'ts not a keystroke system as such, but a utilty to
make your own keymaps, so I think it very weird it doesn't work, LCEdit
works on french azerty boards too i presume? (but maybe the k is in the
same spot then). Could you maybe delve into what the problem is? This
would really help me.
As an added data point, I believe I've done exactly what you're asking
for. I'm sorry I'm too busy to figure out exactly how I did it, but I
can tell you that on Windows XP I was able to remap the / and * on the
numeric keypad to the letters k and l to select fixtures and groups. I
used a program from Microsoft's website tht displays a picture of a full
keyboard and lets you change any key to any other key. It's under
Powertoys or something. Search for keyboard remapping or scancodes or
something. If I get a chance later I try to figure out what the program
is called.
I use a wireless numeric keypad that connects to my laptop with a USB
dongle.
