No, as it only effects the behavior of "Previous Cue", NOT "Previous Step".

Please note that Prev Cue is NOT the same as Prev Step. Previous (and Next) -Cue- is made special for theatre applications, actually it's made to solve the same issue as you have :-)

A soft blackout can be made with a normal cue, or do I miss something (again :-)
