So there aren't any note off send to the lanbox, only note on's with velocity changes. This works perfect.

It's not needed; if you turn on "Ignore NoteOffs" (controller 65), all NoteOffs are ignored. Be aware that NoteON with velocity = 0 also means NoteOff.

I also tried to use some fading. That also works, I can easily change all the fading settings with midi.

I assume you used controller 77 to set manual crossfade, and controller 78 to set the fade time.

The problem that I see a fast "green" flash ( so G at at a maximum ) if the fading curve ( generated by the lanbox ) ends. Very strange because that value is never set at a maximum.

I can not reproduce that here, but are you using the latest firmware?

I've found a solution for this problem, to program a little green color ( CC value 2 ) in the "note off" part.

However I'm curious what's exactly happening and why I get that little flash in this setup.

I don't know if you have a LanBox-LCX, as then you can have a look with LCedit+ what happens. It's also possible that your program sends some weird MIDI messages. Anyway I need more details of your setup: the type of box and firmware version, and also the used MIDI program.

As this is more a support issue, maybe you can send all your details to support at lanbox dot com.

Regards,
