In order to port old LCII MAX applications, we made an UDP based LCdmxOut patch to replace the old Macintosh AppleTalk external.

Does this mean we can use our old LanBox via a Farallon Ethernet/PhoneNet adaptor again?

No, OS X simply does not support ADSP (AppleTalk Data Streaming Protocol). The UDP based LCdmxOut was made so you can at least use old MAX patches with the new UDP protocol, which is supported by the LanBox-LCE and LCX.

BTW You can use an old LanBox-LC with OS X via the serial connection, as it always was for Windows (you need the LC<->PC cable and optional the USB<->RS232 adapter).
