Subject[LCtalk] Spacebar issues

I have run my first show with the LANbox over the last 2 weeks. Towards the end of the run (last 3 performances) my operator was reporting an intermittent response to the spacebar to advance the cues.

I had some timed cues, but they were mostly 'show for ever' cues. I am running on Windows XP Pro.

He got over the problem by typing in the next cue numbers and pressing return, but this of course does not trigger a timed cue until the spacebar is pressed.

I checked the software was not in edit mode, but could not reproduce the fault whenever I tested it. My follow-spot operator who was next to the LX op backed up his story.

It may have been operator error, but is there any other reason you can think of that may have caused that symptom? Why do timed cue sequences not run from the point when the cue is entered if a cue number is typed in - is there an option for this.

One other feature request for use when testing and operating is to be able to modify the fade time of a cue either faster or slower once it has been triggered. If you are doing a plot review, and trigger a cue with a 5 minute fade time, it is annoying to have to wait 5 minutes for the fade to execute. The desk I am used to has a 'faster/slower' knob that allows a cue to be slowed down to a stop, or speeded up to a snap. This is also useful in operation if something goes wrong on stage after a fade is triggered. Could this be implemented somehow?
