SubjectRe: [LCtalk] LCX memory limit

I never thought I could fill the memory of a Lanbox with a single show. I'm using about 800 Channels and I have 5% memory left.

Sounds like you probably have every channel enabled on every step. If values don't change between steps, you don't need to have those channels enabled - that just wastes memory.

For example, if channel 5 fades up to 100% at step 1 and remains at 100% for the rest of that cuelist until step 20, steps 2-19 don't have to have that "255" in channel 1.

So, even if you are just changing one single channel's level, you probably are storing all 800 channels, but you don't need to.
