I'm playing here with a lot of lights, 92 RGB Colorblasts leds and some ETC Revolution wich I find impressive for theatrical lighting. And 4 Lanboxes!!! 2 runing the show and another 2 that will be runing simultaneously as a back-up. The play I will be presenting in Amsterdam on march is much smaller, but I will of course use a Lanbox (and Isadora as I have several screens with projections). BTW I will have to learn Dutch technicians how LCedit and Isadora works :-) Well, there is not so much we can do on speed with the current boxes, but normally cues do not contain so many channels. If you make cues only for smaller groups, it's much faster, far more memory efficient, and also easier to maintain. I understand, the problem is that I have to use the store button to many times, because it isn't possible to view several step crossfade with the the desired time on stage if the cue isn't stored, So when testing several times and holds you always have to make a store before and that's time consuming.
