Hello Philippe, At 08:31 -0600 19-01-2006, Philippe Amand wrote: Dear Lanbox crew, Amusing, as there are still plenty of theatre lighting people that think you can't do a play without a big desk with plenty of faders :-) BTW What kind of play/show are you working on? Is it the one who's coming to Europe in spring? Now, I have a few suggestions:
- The time increases so much when you have to store a step in a cuelist with 800 channels and several steps stored on top. On the design I'm working now, it takes sometimes like 20 seconds to store a cue. Even with a little change it can take a lot of time. Well, there is not so much we can do on speed with the current boxes, but normally cues do not contain so many channels. If you make cues only for smaller groups, it's much faster, far more memory efficient, and also easier to maintain. Regards, -- Fokko van Duin, CDS advanced technology bv, http://www.cds.nl/
