[LCtalk] Working with 2 Universes

Dear Lanbox crew,

I must say that this little box is really amazing. I have been 
working with the Lanbox for a while now and I just don't stop to 
discover new things, it has huge possibilities. You have made a 
really great work.
I'm now using 2 Universes with a lot of moving lights, wahlberg ac 
motor controllers and shutters etc... And I must say that it is a lot 
easier to work with all that equipment using a Lanbox than it would 
be with a conventional desk. I just don't want to work with a 
conventional desk again!

Now, I have a few suggestions:

- It would be great to be able to write more than 8 letters in the 
comment window, I'm using some lines to describe next cue, so you 
know what is going to happend. I've found that this is a good way to 
work for theatre, but 8 letters is simply not enough to describe some 
cues.
Also why is it impossible to write symbols? (like % or # or ø etc...)

- The time increases so much when you have to store a step in a 
cuelist with 800 channels and several steps stored on top. On the 
design I'm working now, it takes sometimes like 20 seconds to store a 
cue. Even with a little change it can take a lot of time. When 
recording cues I have to press the store button many times to exit 
edit mode and be able to view the crossfade on stage. I understand 
it's something about the flash memory speed but It would be 
incredible to make it faster.
