Check that in LanBox 2 (universe 2) all layers are cleared, as UDP
input (universe 2 data) should go to the mixer. If there is any
channel active it blocks UDP input, so to be sure erase (and save
LanBox data) box 2, and setup for UDP input ch 501-1000 to 1-500 to
mixer. I always use 500 channels for a universe, as it's much
easier to remember the universe boundaries in LCedit+.
Fantastic! thank you! Erasing Lanbox 2 solved the problem. If I
understand well, simply erasing layers of box 2 and creating a new
one should also work then. Box 2 doesn't need more than one layer in
its control panel, isn't it?
BTW LanBox 1 should do UDP broadcast ch 501-1000, as box 1 handles
universe 1. In LCedit+ all fixtures should be assigned to box 1
(the master LCX), all fixtures placed above light channel 500 are
in universe 2 ( so light channel 501 becomes DMX ch 1 in universe 2).
Good tip, I will do that next time.
Btw, if you want I can send you the fixtures definition files I
have built for the ETC Revolution and Showco fixtures.
Yes, please send them to me, and I will put them on the site after
checking.
Ok.
Thank you again,
Philippe
