hi

this will work if the second lightboard is some software running on a 
computer connected to a lanbox

I use my lanbox as an  scancontroller
-> using a MA lightcommander 48/6 and some martin 812 scans
the lightboard is not realy nice to make good movements
so i feed the dmx from the desk to the lanbox  some of it like 
dimmer/color/gobo is send straight through to the scans and some of 
the dmx data is processed in the software to make nice curved 
movements with the scans. (all max/msp)

btw the expression does have an dmx-in port.  did you tried that?
