It depends. On MacOS you can connect via MIDI, it also uses dump of 
mixer buffer using SysEx.

Use SysEx and embed the ChannelReadData (see page 12 of the reference 
manual) command. BTW If you turn on debug and streamwatcher in 
LCedit+, you can see what commands LCedit+ is sending.
