Hello Fokko,

I gatherd that, that LCEdit is "just" a HUI, but what if you use all the existing controllers on a sequencer (and Logic & DP offer controllers gallore) to controll all the relevant actions like color intensity, shutter, tilt etc etc etc and this leads to that what I meant with "PlugIn". Such a PlugIn should represent the control unit of fixtures - just as an idea. I think this should be possible relatively easy - and it overcomes the problem of clock signals within the box, as it is controlled from outside - may be I'm wrong in this respect, but I thin it is worth to think about.

Uhh, it's like putting Photoshop into a plugin, just to show pictures in a sequenser :-)

I think that we should have a simple method to control the layers (Go xx.xx, maybe set layer options) in a sequencer like Performer, CueBase, or Logic.

Maybe a xxx plugin?

May be Apple or MOTU is interested in cooperation anyway and will help to write such PlugIns anyway?
I more thin that MOTU will do it, it will increase their strength in having a topclass sequenzer...

I think MOTU helped Jon daggett.

Who is Jon Daggett? Do you have any contact for me?

He is our USA partner, see http://www.midilite.com/ He is also on the LanBox-Talk list.
