Greetings All!
I have a LanBox LCM and am very interested in using AppleScript to send
commands to it. I've read the article published a while ago about using
applescript and perl to send commands. I've tried everything I can
think of, and I can't get it to work. I'll send a command and the
lanbox won't answer, or the command gets caught in some kind of endless
loop. I know the lanbox is fine, I can still communicate with it via
lcedit. The perl script seems to be working, because I can attempt to
communicate with the demo lanbox at CDS.
I wonder if maybe it's my serial adapter. I'm using a Keyspan USA 19HS
usb-serial adapter. Has anyone else used this adapter on this
'mission'? If so, did you have to do anything special? If not, what
adapter were you using?
Thanks!
