Hmmm, I did see the cmd-click/cntrl-click instruction in the tutorial and that works ok. It's still mouse work that I wish could be avoided, but it's not a serious impediment. I've hooked my Contour Design Shuttle Pro to my laptop and I'm thinking of buying a ten-key numeric keypad as well. The Shuttle Pro works well for everything that can be done with keyboard commands, but is no good for things that require mouse navigation. It sure would be nice to press a button on the Shuttle Pro, key in a number or numbers on the keypad, and not even have to look at the computer screen to change a fade time.

For fast editing of the fade time by keys, I don't think there is a solution. You can however speed up by using the single line editor. It becomes active when a layer is in edit mode, but the cuelist editor is set to "blind". To see the single line editor click on the advanced.. triangle of the control window first.

A fast change of fade time in single line edit:

1. Click on the grey single line text.
2. Change fade time, hit return.
3. Click the "Replace" (Rpl) button.

If you create some macros for step 1+2 (for some often used times), the change will be one macro then replace.

Sorry for removing the menu commands (and short-cuts) of the single line editor buttons. It has been always in LCedit+, but we removed it when the cuelist editor became the preferred editor :-)
