Hmmm, I did see the cmd-click/cntrl-click instruction in the tutorial and that works ok. It's still mouse work that I wish could be avoided, but it's not a serious impediment. I've hooked my Contour Design Shuttle Pro to my laptop and I'm thinking of buying a ten-key numeric keypad as well. The Shuttle Pro works well for everything that can be done with keyboard commands, but is no good for things that require mouse navigation. It sure would be nice to press a button on the Shuttle Pro, key in a number or numbers on the keypad, and not even have to look at the computer screen to change a fade time. I rarely ever look at the ETC board's monitor when editing fade time. I can key in new fade times without taking my eyes off the stage. (The real stage, I mean. The one with people walking around reciting lines, not the stage mode or stage window on the computer.)

I'm going to re-read the section of the manual on macros. I don't think I've absorbed that at all yet. Maybe there's something in there that will help. You guys really have covered an amazing range of capabilities.
