With your patch, you are overloading ethernet. Add speedlimit of 25Ms 
as we do in our UDP tx examples (see also the UDP desk example).

Hmm, as soon as I open a mxj object MAX is hanging in a spinning 
wheel on OSX 10.4.2. On my WinXP system it's working, but I think the 
mxj net.udp.send object is using the OSC protocol, help is not 
helping in that.

Do you know if there is any real documentation of the mxj net.udp 
/tcp objects? Anyway this discussion belongs more on the MAX list 
then on LanBoxtalk list.
