Which max object(s) are you referring to exactly? Communication with the lanbox itself can be done with 'serial' or some object that does plain TCP communication (assuming one exists for Pd). The protocol is specified in the documentation that comes with LCedit, and isn't too hard to deal with in Max so I assume also not in Pd. As for the lcudp-pack, lcudp-unpack and lclbuf objects.. they're just to make life easier when dealing with the UDP protocol that the lanbox speaks. Since they're purely data-handling objects and do nothing OS-specific, they could probably be ported to Pd easily if needed. -- Matthijs van Duin -- May the Forth be with you!
