Even when I set both Layers A and B to 'Transparent' in LC Edit advanced section to run (and view) cues simulaneously from both the layers, when I start up the Cubase sequence the 'Tsp' indication in Layers A & B both disappear and I lose the simultaneous play bacK of cues and chases from the various program control numbers from the two channels. It looks like Cubase outputs a message "program change 0" when it starts, this will reset a layer to default (cue 0.0). Put a controller 71 with a value 2 or 3 on MIDI ch 1 (layer A) in order to set layer A to HTP or LTP mode. See page 18 of the LC+ reference manual, but Note that 0=off, 1=Copy, 2=HTP, 3=LTP, 4=Transp, 5=Add. Be sure that layer B keeps running, or provide a background layer e.g. E with the used channels active, else layer A will not work correctly when layer B is cleared (all inactive) I really do need to run two layers with program control not just one, otherwise I'm not taking advantage of what the Lanbox-LCX can do. Any ideas ? Why do you want the same light channels set from two cues, other then to create flash or blackouts?
