Do what I do: if you make a new cuelist, make cue X.1,X .5, X.10, X,15, etc. (where X stands for the cuelistnumber) with channel 1 through 50 on 000. Just make one, dragging and dropping this cue with the alt/option button down will copy it. You can make comment cues (describing the following cuestep) inbetween, if the show changes, you can add cues.
Use this as your base, if you change the percentage in one cue, and don't change the next one, it'll fade to zero again.

This is what I used to do, and it works perfectly well ofcourse. There is one important downside... When you want to change the intensity of a channel not only in one queue, but in all queues using that channel: you have to change everywhere... Assume you have 3 channels that light out some part of the scene, initially all set to 60%. But during rehersal you notice something like 40%,50%,70% is better, then you have to change every queue where this part of the scene is used... We often have between 70 and 100 queues, so this isn't very practical.

I did use groups in the stage editor, which makes live somewhat easier, but still... you have to manually change them all.

thanks though
Jan
