I think this approach has its pros and cons when comparing to what I used to do (and what Dennis Peeters proposes in reply to my question). The pros are obviously that I no longer have to worry about changing all queues using a channel I want to change. The first negative point is that I no longer have a simple "crossfade", but have to keep in mind to "crossfade to blackout" for the correct queue... Also when changing the timing (crossfade in 6 seconds in stead of 3 for example) I have to change that at different places (1 for every part of the combined queue). I'll toy a bit with the idea with some more realistic examples (I have a show currently which I can "refactor") to see what it gives. thanks for the clear example Jan
