That must be it, I used the master once for a blackout, thinking it was just about intensity. Good to know it's not.

I remember a theatre pro who cut off all masters of his desks :-)

Worked with the lanbox today during rehearsal, no problems this time, it's quite fast to use once you got the hang of the LCEdit+ interface and programmed some keyboard shortcuts. (and if you've got the spacebar repeat set to zero:-))

Ok, that's good.

A few questions
-I'd like to be able to program a keycommand or macro that only does k in the CLI command window, so I can make a channel button out of the * button on the numeric keypad, or group button for / , for fast adjustments. If I try this i get k?? in the CLI because it probably places an enter behind the command. If I try to make a macro I get a no commands error.

This is more like key re-mapping. I used Quickeys to do that.

- Is it possible to change channel numbering (and stage numbering) so I can keep patch 1 to 1 (so the channel nr. is the same as fixture nr,) after deleting some unused fixtures.

Sure, select a fixture and do menu Edit Item. You can change the light channel Base address of the fixture, and after Tab the DMX address is set to the same address.

Note: Don't change addresses after you made cues, as the used channels are NOT changed in cues!

And another question:
- Would it be possible to implement a rate chase - rate crossfade wheel in the advanced window, in order to speed up/ slow down crossfades, might come in handy with live (music) shows too, for matching chasers to the beat.

Uh, we did :-) If a layer is in chase mode the chase speed changes the hold times and fade times. It's not possible to change the rate of a pending fade.

- A countdown (in sec's) of the selected layer fades / holds for reference on shortening fades.

We preferred the Hold and Fade bars, as it gives a quicker indication how much to go, but it's more a personal preference.
