My question: Is there a key command or something quick to change the gain to 0%, it's the only thing I can imagine accidently doing. Or is it a bug ?

The fastest way to set some channels to a gain of 0, is by typing 0 <enter> in the Master Intensity field, e.g. instead of Intensity.

Tip: Check the master Intensity that the field is never blank, but shows 100% whenever you have selected fixtures.

Tip2: Do not set the Master Intensity above 100%, as due to a firmware issue you can get funny results if the calculated DMX value of a light channel ends above 255. It's fixed in firmware 2.04
