I have a LCM with firmware 2.02
Seems like I already run this "slow DMX" then

Yes, but v2.03 is a bit more slower in "slow DMX mode" (we could say "easier" for receivers, "slow" is relative. We are still only talking about 44 micro seconds more per DMX channel :-)

Have never touched the "Global setting -> DMX -> number of DMX output channels" setting.
Will check the number later this afternoon.

It's a rare used setting.

If I'm correct, version prior to 2.03 this setting doesn't matter because LCM has a "fixed slow DMX"
After upgrading to 2.03 I'll have the opportunity to change to highest performance.

If you can, it's always better as the delay between channel 1 and 500 will be about 50% lower (from 43 to 23 milliseconds)

For sure I will test and see what will happen to my "cheap" fixtures.

I'll send you the link.
