with this option i only have half of a dmx line for the slow-scans
what if they are adressed above 250 ?

DMX are packets, changing the timing halfway is impossible, and it would not help.

We use the Global setting DMX number of output channels, as it is a very rare used setting and is normally at 512. If you set it to 500 you get slow DMX, and if you set it to 250 very slow.

The number of output DMX addresses are reduced to this number (some very bad fixtures can not even handle a full 512 bytes packet, but only 250).

And btw why is it 250 instead of 256?

250 is half of 500.

Will this slow-thing aloso apply for dmx-in?

No, the input can handle any speed.

is in this firmware the dmx-in bug solved ? the one about the one-shift up thing

You mean for UDP DMX-in broadcast, yes.
