Fortunately I can now daisy chain it through the LCE which works fine.

There are at least two well accepted DMX testers; e.g. the Pocket Watch of Goddard http://www.goddartdesign.com and the Micro-Scope from Artistic Licence http://www.artisticlicence.com/cat2_1.htm

It's nice to prove the LCX data is ok, but it does not solve the problem :-)
