Good question, maybe you can try with another cable/connector.

I'll try with another cable. I do not have another connector then the one delivered together with my lanbox.

In general if your problems disappear with a low (9600) baudrate, it has to do with your PC (hardware and/or software). If the errors are more or less independent of baudrate it's almost always cable/connector problems.

The errors do not go away with lower baudrates. The only thing I can do to have less erros is close the "scene window" and "dmx output window" and not to select any chanel. The consequence is that LCEdit+ sends less commands to the lanbox then, because it needs not to poll for all the dmx values per chanel. Offcourse the reasing for having less errors could just be that there are less commands, and hence less changes on errors. The error/command rate might be the same, if you know what I'm trying to say.

The change that something is wrong with the box is very low, and is limited to the RJ45 connector and the RS232 interface circuit. Anyway a low baudrate would not help in such event.

I hope this helps,

I'll try another cable and let you know.
