I need a stand alone controller for a 3 channel installation of fluorescent lamps (6 lamps per channel).
I was wondering about using the 788-LD+
But I guess I would need another LANBOX as DMX controller, bewteen my computer and the 788-LD right?
any advice?

In order to control DMX devices like the 788-LD+ dimmer pack, you need a DMX controller. You choice is either a LanBox-LCM (with the optional USB adapter), or the LanBox-LCE (Ethernet).

If your computer has an Ethernet port, the LanBox-LCE is preferred as it gives highest speed and galvanic isolation. Else you can use the LanBox-LCM, but if your computer has no RS232 port but only USB, you need the optional USB adapter.
