I don't really remember what possibilities were available with OMS.. can't you just patch LCedit+ and the other MIDI application onto the same MIDI out port (and MIDI in just to LCedit+) ? Or maybe some separate application which multiplexes the MIDI port (maybe such a thing can be made in Max?). If you have an LanBox-LC or LanBox-LCX there's of course an entirely different, and probably better solution: connect LCedit+ via network (or USB if LCX).
