Here's the info I have on it:

EE - Engine ID (internal)
II - Engine ID (letter - A=1, B=2, etc)
BB- status bitfield

abcdefgh
a - layer lock   [Most Significant Bit]
b - waiting on step
c - auto output
d - pause status
e - solo status
f - fading status
g - edit mode
h - output enable  [Least Significant Bit]

CCCC - cuelist
SS - step
FF - total fade time (encoded)
RFRF - Remaining fade time
HH - total hold time (encoded)
RHRH-  remaining hold time
*/

The data returned is the above info concatenated once for every layer.
