Subject[LCtalk] Setting up Two universes
FromDavid Raison

Hi,

I have set up an LCX (@192.168.1.77) and an LCE (@192.168.1.78) and have the two talking to each other. The LCX emits channels 513-1024 which the LCE receives and maps onto its own 1-512.

Now I can either tell the LCE to inject the values directly into the mixer, or to inject them into a layer. I am only using the LCE as a "dumb slave" device, so which approach should I take? Am I correct in thinking that layers will have precedence over any values injected into the mixer?

On a UI note, in LCEdit is there any whay of "selecting" an interface (to access its Global Settings tab) without having a fixture that points at it?

When can we expect 3.2.1 to be "formally" released?

Rgds.
