I guess the best Fixture for a RGB LED spot would be generic - RGB dimmer.

Yes.

How can I store new Fixture preset colors?

1. Clear the selected layer, and set the three channels manual to a color/intensity.
2. In the control window click on pc button under Fixture presets, but with the alt key pressed.
3. Give the preset a name, and define it in the library or this fixture only.

The presets appear under the pc preset popup. See for a full description the tutorial, chapter 3 :-)

Note: If you define it in the library, be sure that your presets are generic valid for any RGB fixture. Otherwise first make a duplicate (Library editor, select RGB pack, Duplicate Item from Edit Menu), and name it your RGB fixture and place them on the stage.
