I know from experience that a 8 pole Mac mini DIN to DB9 female is very hard to get. If the DB9 is male it's the wrong cable. And now I was wondering - don't I need a driver for the Lanbox? I thought every device you connect to your pc should have a driver installed in order to be recognised by the system... You don not need drivers, and normally it's working on any PC, but be sure your PC has a RS232 port, not just -a- (vague) serial port, as that could be anything. When in doubt you can also try a USB<->RS232 adapter. With LCedit+ you don't need to set the port speed or whatever, LCedit+ is doing that for you.
