If you need a 512 channel DMX controller with Ethernet only, we soon offer something like the low cost LCM ;-) I want to use the LCX as the overall controller, and have a second universe output from the other box. I could use an LCM (as this also has the benefit of the "longer" DMX packets that some of the low cost fixtures prefer), but I don't need any of the other functions it has. If you are proposing a cheaper "extender box via ethernet" solution then sign me up for one!
