Hi, I am interested in purchasing the LCM. I play in a cabaret band playing
clubs and smallish venues in the UK. We use a hard disk recorder for some of
our backing, together with cubase and a windows XP PC to control our
lighting rig via midi. My question is this:- I downloaded the latest version
of the LCedit+ program (V 3.2) and noticed that on the interface set-up
screen there is a drop down box for MIDI in and out. Does this mean that i
could have Cubase and LCEdit+ open on the same PC and trigger the light cues
in LCedit+ from within Cubase. The physical connection would be the serial
connection from the PC to the LCM (Not the MIDI adaptor) This arrangement
would let me program the light show using LCedit+ then trigger the cues from
within Cubase to see what the light show looked like when accompanying the
hard disk recorder, withought having to physically change the connection
between the PC and the LCM. Is this possible? Thanks for your help.
regards Glenn......
