I want to control 5 DMX Strobes (trigger and flash intensity) directly by MIDI keyboard/sequencer.

The Strobes are set to DMX channels 1,3,5,7,9, and the last one is terminated. Do I have to make a setup with LCredit+ and load it to the LanBox before starting, or is there a basic midi Assignment in the box already.

The default setup is that it listen's on all MIDI channels and all are mapped to layer A, and no offset. This means if you send a NoteOn of pitch 1, you set light channel 1 to 2x the Note velocity.

I would prefer to create in LCedit+ some flash cues, and trigger them with program change later from MIDI. See the tutorial how to setup the stage and create some cues.
