Here is my problem and I its a problem I had before, the lanbox seems to remember whatever seetings/cues I did prior to last and even though I have only one cuelist editor open and nothing running in any layer, whenever I hit an empty cue the program/box recreates my prior to last step and refuses to let go.

Based on your description, I think you ran into a "feature" of the cuelist editor that unfortunately sometimes seems to kick in when you don't want it.

When you set a value on a blank cuestep the first time, it copies the values from the last cuestep you had selected. This is often the right thing to do, particularly when each step is a slight modification of the previous step. It prevents people from accidently creating "sparse" scenes.

But it unfortunately seems to be a bit too persistent sometimes.. :-/

We'll see what we can do about it. For now, just clear the step if it erroneously fills it in for you (if you're live-editing, just use clear layer). You can also get rid of the behavior by closing and re-opening the cuelist editor, but you'll probably quickly have it again.
