HI Fokko, in the middle of rehearsals, therefore slow in responding, first, the DMX IN works now, thanks heaps, was also due to a DMX patch in the board that remapped channels before entering the LanBox. I also now seem to have understood the layer "problem", every time I activate a fixture in a layer, even if I don't record the result in a cuelist, the fixture remains active there and blocks automatically lower layers if they control the same fixture - as happens mostly with "sub" goto lists. This for me was a huge puzzle as this circumstance is not reflected in the graphical fixture control window on the left side of the layers once another fixture or group gets selected / activated in any other layer. My suggestion for this problem would be that every layer reflects the graphical view of the last fixture selected in this layer. For live shows (and I believe this logic stems from live needs) this would make it easier to hand control different fixtures in different layers without having to go to the stage window and select it there first. I also think that the logic of the layers is not laid out clear enough in the manual and tutorial, I read both several times and still could not understand. Other than that I am a lanbox aficionado and have enormous fun realizing my second production with it. best Kurt
