With reference to my previous message a couple of days ago about the space bar not moving cues forward on two different Lanboxes and two different laptops, I have a little more information. I started both systems up last night without the ethernet cables connected at boot up time. Both systems exhibited the space bar problem. To answer an earlier question from Fokko: no error messages are reported, the communication window looks absolutely normal. I did, as Fokko suggested, try 'reconnect interfaces'. One system responded immediately and operated normally from that point on. With the other system, I had to do the 'reconnect interfaces' twice and from that point the second system was fine. I also noted another interesting point with the second system that required the two reconnections: after performing the first reconnection I was assuming everything was OK, so I selected all the text in the communication window and hit the delete key - it didn't work, the text remained. I then tried the space bar and found that didn't work either. So I did the second 'reconnect interfaces' and both the delete key and the space bar worked fine after that. So it looks like the problem affects more than just the space bar. Any ideas? Regards, John -- John Conry 'Open your arms to change but don't let go of your values.'
