I'm currently in the middle of a run of South Pacific. This is being run on an Apple PowerBook (OS X 10.3.3) with a Lanbox LCX; connection is ethernet. For backup I have a totally duplicate setup sitting alongside the live system (both laptop and Lanbox). Intermittently, after starting up the Lanbox and laptop, the spacebar refuses to move to the next cue. Usually exiting LCedit and restarting it fixes the problem. Sometimes a reboot is required. It only ever happens immediately after startup and once it is working it remains working with no problems. I was surprised last night when BOTH computers exhibited the behaviour. One only required a restart of LCedit, the other laptop had to be rebooted. It's not a big problem but it is an annoyance, particularly when I had other technical problems to resolve before the show could go up! Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, is there a (simple) solution? John -- John Conry 'Death cannot kill what never dies.' Plaque on Patsy Cline's grave. E-mail: john@conry.net Web: http://www.conry.net
