Hello, I would like to ask about a good way to format Max data to control the LCX. I do want to dim 31 lights and I would like to dim them in the "same" time seperatly. If I do this via ethernet data gets lost and it gets chaotic. I have just copied and have made a modul the hexencode formatter from the examples. This is obviously not very elegant... ):, because I do not know what this external is doing. I tried out sprintf to make one big symbol, but I have had no succes. I would be quite happy if someone could post a hint or example how to add or glue many (more) commands in a way that they do work. In the end I would like to dim 1092 different leds - is this possible in general with the LCX controlled via Ethernet with Max? Is there enough bandwidth to do this smoothly and rapid, too, on all lightchannels? Best, Johannes Sienknecht BTW: Is there an existing or ongoing development to implement dmx via firewire as midi via firewire is existing?
