Can the controlls for one engine/cuelist be all at
the same time (like a quantized midi chord) Example:
1 1 1 1 Control 1 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 1 Control 1 53 97 (#21 LSB)
1 1 1 1 Control 1 86 11 ctrl 86

I don't Logic well enough, but if it's absolutely sent in that order, ok.

or is it better to stagger them like I did ? And if staggered - how much? Do you have to leave any breaks in mididata anywhere else ?

I don't know what you mean by staggering, but you may send these three MIDI messages at max speed, no delay between them.

Will my old LC+ with the current firmware ( I'm still on 1.05 ) have the same problem or can I use the old midifiles with current firmware on the LC+ ?

According the documentation the three controllers should stay together if you send to multiple layers. BTW You should upgrade to v1.06 for LCedit+ ;-)
