Hello Fokko,

But what I see below is also wrong for a LC+!

1 1 1 1 Control 1 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 1 Control 3 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 1 Control 15 21 0 ctrl 21

No, no. it should have been:

1 1 1 5 Control 1 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 6 Control 1 53 97 (#21 LSB)
1 1 1 7 Control 1 86 11 ctrl 86

1 1 1 8 Control 3 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 9 Control 3 53 97 (#21 LSB)
1 1 1 10 Control 3 86 12 ctrl 86

I understand - it has been working fine though - obviously the LC+ would put the matching midichannels together, something, I would have expect the LCX to do as well - okay, it does not. Unfortunatly, you did not say anything to the rest of my mail. Sorry to came back to it one more time, but I run into a hell of work now because the above "order of midi data problem" has never adressed in any manual. To avoid having this work come up sometime again, I would rather know for shure: How should the perfect order be ? Can the controlls for one engine/cuelist be all at the same time (like a quantized midi chord) Example:
1 1 1 1 Control 1 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 1 Control 1 53 97 (#21 LSB)
1 1 1 1 Control 1 86 11 ctrl 86

1 1 1 8 Control 3 21 1 ctrl 21
1 1 1 8 Control 3 53 97 (#21 LSB)
1 1 1 8 Control 3 86 12 ctrl 86
or is it better to stagger them like I did ? And if staggered - how much? Do you have to leave any breaks in mididata anywhere else ?
Will my old LC+ with the current firmware ( I'm still on 1.05 ) have the same problem or can I use the old midifiles with current firmware on the LC+ ?

Regards, Michael Lohrengel
