Subject[LCtalk] LCX problem

Hallo Fokko,

I came across a strange and severe midi problem with the LCX: I start every midisong with setting the Lanbox to a particular cuelist for that song ( actually a couple of cuelist - movinglights have their one cuelist as well as PARS, a slideprojektor and some more things ), but for an example, say 202, followed by a cuestep :
21 1 / 53 74 / 86 17
recalls cuelist 202.17
This has worked fine with the old Lanbox LC. With the LCX, it works, as long as the data is coming into the LCX slowly. Sending the commands out of Logic by hand will set the LCX to the according cuelist - but sending the same data as part of the midifile in the same speed that has always worked fine for the LC will make the LCX stumble - mostly it will just ignore the cuelist change and will just call step .17 of the current cuelist, sometimes, in an higher engine, it will even call a wrong cuelist.
Just to make shure: I have set the LCX's midi to engine table right, cause it works on slower speed. I can switch back and forth 'tween LC and LCX - it's always the same. Slow commands work on the LCX, faster only on the LC.
I have not tried any other midicommunication with the LCX so far - if this dont work properly, I cant use it anyway.

Did I miss any settings??

Two more things I wonder about:
If I add a static text in the fixture definition, the intensity indicators are not available anymore ?? Why ??

I understand, that making a group will merge panels as far as possible - quite often that's a handy feature. But sometimes I would rather have the chance to see e.g. two fixtures in the controlwindow with individuel panels: e.g. I have two Robocolours, that dont always work parallel. It would be a lot more convinient to programm them if I could see both of them with individuel panels in the controlwindow. So, is there a command to show two or more fixtures in the controlwindow without merging the panels ?

Regards, Michael Lohrengel
