The computer was just recently built and just now reinstalled with an authentic "OEM" version (different from retail) of Windows XP Professional, no download here. I haven't had any problems with this computer at all, to the contrary its been working like a beaut, with the exception of this. I don't have a virus, or anti-virus software running for that matter. I was under the impression that the software should run without a connection to the LanBox at all, right? But yes, I have it hooked up via USB and the drivers are installed and Windows sees it as a modem on COM port 4. Are there any services or "things" that the software is dependent upon that I may not have running? Thanks, Jonathan www.zajas.com
