Hello,

I just received the LanBox LCX. I've tried to install the driver on two different machines running Win2K but get the message ccport.sys is required. Apparently this file isn't even used for Win2K. I searched Microsoft's site and only found the remedy for a 3Com modem driver conflict. One of these machines doesn't even have a modem driver installed. Is anyone familiar with this problem?

I have never seen this conflict on my Win2000 system, but did you install the CDS USB modem driver as it is described in the tutorial?

BTW I can remember some problems with Win2000 when the newest multimedia set was not installed. Since I do auto updates (because of all security holes), I have not had any problems anymore.

I did do a quick search of lanbox.com for ccport.sys and found nothing. Sorry if this issue has already been covered.

No, AFAIK it has never been up, so you are very special ;-)

I hope this helps,
