Okay, I admit, I dont know nothing really about tcp and, yes, I have a router.

Ok, that's very good, as that means you already have an internal tcp/ip network!
The only thing you need to do is put the LanBox-LCX on an address -within- your local net. Normally home routers use either the 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x. net, so look to the settings of your router it's local address and mask. If your router is e.g. at 192.168.0.1, with a mask of 255.255.255.0, then set your LCX (via USB or EtherTalk) e.g. to 192.168.0.77, with the same mask.

BTW It's better to assign a static address (the LCX is a server) outside the DHCP range of your router.

If all this TCP/IP talk is too much hocus pocus, ask someone to help you with assigning a local IP for your box. If you also ask him to do a port mapping for tcp port 777, your box can be accessed from the internet if you like ;-)

If I set my PC to 192.168.1.10, with mask 255.255.255.0, am I still able to use my normal home network ( second PC and Internet) at the same time or do I have to reset the adresses every time I change from Lanbox to Internet ?

Yes, no, it depends on settings in your PC (or your router), but it's outside the scope of beginners tcp/ip ;-)

Have tcp/ip fun,
