Thanks for your posts Chris. I think I may have found the problem;
however, I'm still haven't found a way to resolve it.
I've attempted to install the drivers on 7 PCs now both with and without
having the device connected. The new hardware installation wizard
interrupts the driver installation because it thinks it needs
ccport.sys, and a couple of other drivers to complete the installation.
It won't even let me get as far as loading the driver so I can't have
the wrong driver.
All of the PCs are running Win2K. Out of the 7 PCs I've only been able
to install the driver on 2 of them. The problem is that I can't use
either of these machines with the LanBox because they are custom
configured machines dedicated for use as digital audio workstations.
The reason I tried them is that I happen to know that they are fresh
installs of Win2K whereas all of the other machines are upgrades from
Win98.
I'm going to see about re-loading my other machine with Win2K from an
install disk and see if it works then. I'm out of other options at this
point.
